March 13 Manage Your Technology and Watch Your Business Grow
This session will be presented by Eileen Hasson, President of The Computer Company, Inc., in West Hartford. Incorporated in 1996 as a total information technology solutions provider, the company moved to its present site in 1999 and began focusing on Web-based technologies and computer networking for small, medium, and large businesses including government and municipalities. In 2005, Eileen Hasson won the first annual “Women of Innovation” award from the Connecticut Technology Council.
March 20 Designing a First-Class Web Site
Jeffrey Campbell, Founder and Managing Director of Measure Twice, LLC, will lead this session. He founded his online communications, marketing, and sales solutions company in 2002 with a goal of providing world-class professional services to small and medium-sized businesses. Located in Avon, Measure Twice specializes in complex e-commerce and dynamic, data-driven Web applications. Previously, Campbell worked in professional consulting companies including KPMG, where Chase Manhattan Bank, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and the State of New Jersey were clients.

Located in Avon, Measure Twice specializes in complex e-commerce and dynamic, data-driven Web applications. Previously, Campbell worked in professional consulting companies including KPMG, where Chase Manhattan Bank, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and the State of New Jersey were clients. Therieault heads a West Hartford-based franchise from WSI Internet Consulting and Education, a Canadian company ranked in first place as an Internet services business by Entrepreneur magazine. Previously, she was a technology director for corporations including Hartford Steam Boiler, The Hartford Insurance Group, AIG, Phoenix Life Insurance, and United Technologies.

This series is offered by the Library in partnership with the Connecticut Small Business and Development Center (CSBDC). Those who participate in all five workshops will earn a certificate of completion; those wishing to attend only specific sessions are welcome to do so.
